The audio installation <Truelove Series> is based on the observation of the relationship between media and desire. The media reflects the wishets of the masses. They get an alternative satisfaction from the media. The work thematizes the word “love“ and deconstructs it from the medium in order to retrieve the literal meaning by an abstract voice.
The vinyl record as a sound carrier is a mass medium. The surface of the records was moulded in wood glue and the cast with negative grooves was played on the turntable, which creates abstract melodies and the lyrics of the song thereby lose their form.

사운드 설치 <트루러브 시리즈(True Love Series)>는 미디어와 욕망의 관계에 대한 관찰한다. 대중의 염원은 대중매체에 반영되고 대중은 그들로부터 대안적인 만족을 얻는 다. 작품은 ‘사랑’이라는 단어를 주제로 미디어로부터 그것을 해체하여 추상적인 목소리 를 문자 그대로의 의미로 회복시킨다.
사운드 캐리어로서 대중 매체인 레코드 음반 중에서도 제목에 ‘사랑(영문:Love, 독문:Liebe)’ 이 포함된 레코드를 수집했다. 레코드의 표면을 목공풀로 음각 캐스팅 하었고, 원본에서 음각으로 본떠진 소리골을 따라 턴테이블에서 재생되었다. 음각으로 떠진 돌 기를 따라 재생되는 사운드는 추상적인 멜로디를 생성하고, 그 곡의 가사는 의미의 형 태를 잃으면서 ‘사랑’이라는 단어가 가진 추상적인 의미의 원점의 상태로 돌려놓는다.
